The Efficiency Office Volunteer Team - Save and Share with Warm Regards

On Mid-Autumn Festival on 10 September 2022, the Efficiency Office Volunteer Team celebrated the occasion in a meaningful way. We extended our warm regards to people in need at St. James’ Settlement by sorting suitable food collected from the food support inclusive platform FOOD-CO for donation.

 

Our volunteers completed their work together and they were all very excited to see boxes of food ready for donating to people in need. Through participating in the programme, volunteers gained a deeper understanding about food donation. We have to check the expiry date, type and packaging of the food to see if they are suitable before donation. On reflection, we will refrain from buying more than necessary in order not to waste food in our daily lives.

 

We will keep up and continue to participate in volunteer programmes to show loving care for those in need!
